Horticulture Center, Balaghata, Bandarban is a service organization. The institute produces seedlings / cuttings of various modern fruits, flowers, vegetables and spices of up-to-date modern quality. The produced seedlings / cuttings are distributed to the interested persons of the area at the price fixed by the government.

The farm was started in 1989 by the then EPADC. The management of this farm was later entrusted to the Horticulture Development Board. As a result of administrative changes, the farm became known as the garden base of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Food Grain Wing. The farm has been operating as a horticulture center since July 1, 1991. It is located on the Bandarban-Chandraghona road, about 2.0 km from Bandarban city. Police Line to the east of the center, Sangu River to the west, Youth Training Center to the north and Bandarban Cantonment to the south. The location of the center on flat land in a picturesque environment surrounded by mountains and rivers.
